What sameAs links should I add to my Organization schema?

The sameAs property in Organization schema creates explicit entity links between your website and your profiles on external authoritative platforms. AI models use these links to consolidate information about your brand from multiple sources into a single, high-confidence entity representation.
Highest priority:
- Wikidata (
wikidata.org/wiki/Q...): the most authoritative machine-readable knowledge base. A Wikidata entry is the single highest-value entity signal for AI systems that rely on knowledge graphs. - LinkedIn Company Page: AI models treat LinkedIn as a high-authority professional directory. The URL format is
linkedin.com/company/your-company. - Wikipedia: if your brand has a Wikipedia article, link to it. Wikipedia is heavily represented in AI training data.
High priority:
- Crunchbase: particularly valued for technology and startup brands
- Google Business Profile / Google Knowledge Panel URL: signals Google entity recognition
Secondary:
- Industry-specific directories (G2, Capterra for SaaS; Clutch for agencies)
- Official social profiles (Twitter/X, GitHub for developer tools)
The critical rule: consistency. The brand name in your Organization schema must exactly match the name on every linked profile — same capitalization, same punctuation. "geo4llm", "Geo4LLM", and "GEO4LLM" will be treated as potentially different entities by AI resolution systems.
